Pastor Steve Ewing
Steve Ewing grew up in Stockton. After moving around to Springfield, MO, to Tulsa, OK, and then back to Stockton, he surrendered to the ministry in 1986. He attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO. It was at SBU where he met his wife Donis. They were married in 1989 and have three children, Nathanael, Joshua, and Hannah. Steve has been in the ministry for over 30 years. His philosophy, not just as a Pastor but as a Christian, is to share the love of Christ with those he meets. Whether it is from the pulpit or in the bleachers at a ballgame, people need to experience the love, the mercy, and the grace that God has for them. Steve believes that the best way to evangelize our world is by giving people what God has already given you. If you have experienced His love, mercy, and grace then you know what it is like and you know what they are missing. From the pulpit, Steve is going to preach God’s Word as it is laid on his heart by the Holy Spirit. Our world is a broken world that needs God. Sometimes God’s Word is hard to hear, but that is usually when we need it most.
